Coilfang Reservoir (Heroic)

The key that opens up the Heroic dungeons at the bottom of the Coilfang drain is the Reservoir Key ^AHT. With this, you'll be able to run through the following instances in Heroic mode:

• The Slave Pens ^AHTW
• The Steamvault ^AHW
• The Underbog ^AHTW

Note that, to activate Heroic mode, all members of a party must be carrying the key. Note, too, that the Reservoir Key does not give you access to Serpentshrine Cavern (see the Serpentshrine Cavern guide to find out how to get into Lady Vashj's ^W lair).

In order to get your hands on the Reservoir Key, you'll first need to reach Revered with the Cenarion Expedition faction. Once you're managed that, travel to Cenarion Refuge ^W and speak to the faction quartermaster, Fedryen Swiftspear ^AHTW. He'll sell you the key you need for the sum of 10g.

You'll need to beat the Heroic modes for the Slave Pens and the Steamvault in order to progress to the most advanced Burning Crusade instances, so acquiring the Reservoir Key is a vital part of your journey to the end-game instances.
