The Burning CrusadeKeys and FactionsQuesting and raiding in Outland involves a lot of keys, and a lot of favour with various factions. This section of the site has a selection of guides that will help you through the various chains of quests and instances that lead to the keys and attunements you'll need. There's also information on how to build up reputation with the factions you'll need. You'll notice that a lot of terms are highlighted and followed by a series of note links, like this AHTW. They'll link you to the relevant sections on Allakhazam, Wowhead, Thottbot and WoWWiki, respectively, where those sites have information available (or you can click on the main term itself to search Thottbot, instead of linking directly into the site). Please note that these lists are not necessarily exhaustive: we'll be expanding and developing them as time goes on. Keys and AttunementsTop Priority KeysThese are the keys to the instances we'll be raiding first. If you don't already have these, you should work towards getting them as soon as you can. Other Normal KeysThese are other keys that are useful to have, but not as high priority. If you have all the top priority keys, it will be useful to work on some of these.
Heroic KeysThese keys give access to the heroic mode for certain dungeons. Future ExpansionsThese instances do not yet exist in the game, but will be included in future patches. FactionsTop Priority FactionsThese are the factions that will be important early in our raiding career. You should work on building up reputation with these factions first. Other Raiding FactionsAs we raid more and more difficult instances, you'll also need to work on faction with these groups. Other TBC FactionsNone of these factions are needed for raiding, but many of them provide valuable recipes and rewards. (Note that there are also a couple of Horde-only factions, not listed here.) |
