Editorial - MilleSabor

well, not much has happened those past four weeks as a lot of GENs have been on vacation abroad. That we have included some articles from our past issue(s) is not due to the laziness of our editors however but to the fact that they are still important.

Furthermore we are going to include a new service: Advertisements! If you have a service to offer or are new in business and want to make your shop known: send a pm to MilleSabor via message-services on our guild forum.

Generations turns four! - MilleSabor

On Friday the 2nd 2002 "Earth & Beyond" was released in the US and although no one remembers the exact date "Generations" was founded it has been close to the release-date of that game. GEN has tried to keep track of their ascent to world-domination by taking screenshots of an annual all-member-meetup. Members of SWG-division please log in on Sunday, September 3rd at 7:00 pm Greenwich Mean Time (note that British Daylight Saving Time is in effect so GENs located in the UK log in at 8:00 pm local time please) and meet at our PA-hall opposite the shuttle port in New Jove?s to have those screenshots taken ? make sure to wear your best clothes!

Arrrrr! - MilleSabor

The MMORPG "Pirates of the Burning Sea" is slated to be released in June 2007. This is farther away than anticipated but the game will contain not just ship-to-ship-combat but avatar-combat as well, so it will be possible to grapple enemy ships, board them and fight the crew with your trusty cutlass. Several GENs (and of course yours truly) intend to give this game a try and dominate the Carribean.

Promotions in SWG - MilleSabor

Colonneh has joined officer-ranks in SWG - due to the fact that all flowers have been picked from our plaza Cobacca handed him a toothbrush and ordered him to clean his cave - we'll expect to hear from Colonneh in about a year or so again

SWG'er turns up in Runescape - Tornadium, MilleSabor

If you ever intend to try the free MMORPG "Runescape" make sure to give our friend and former SWG-officer Draino a shout: He plays there as Draino01

New Loot Table in WoW - Aviad

Gen's WOW officer team have finally set up a complete list of items for the higher raid instances in wow such as Black Wing Lair and Temple of Ahn'Qiraj. That list specify classes who are eligible to bid on items doing raids. While this also rose some conflicts with some classes over specific items we hope that in the end this list will solve a lot of future problem and ease the burden from the Raid and leaders.

Promotions in WoW

Congratulations for the promotions this month: Pleed, Galnadriana and Oracus have been promoted to Honour Guard, Baelarius and Elrath have joined the ranks of Elite Guard and Demonhunter has become Veteran

Kwambus bunker saved from decay! - MilleSabor

In a last-ditch effort to preserve the historic bunker of Kwambus in New Joves on Dantooine, GEN has created a foundation to raise the millions of credits needed to rehabilitate the house, which was dangerously low on maintenance.

"Our City is rich in historic neighborhoods", says mayor Mille S'Abor, "encouraging residents and visitors to invest time and money in those historic buildings is an important goal for the city."

while it is an essential tool to organize raids in WoW the fact that Generations has a Teamspeak-Server (TS for short) is not widely known among players in SWG. Get a client here and make your voice count! Ask your officers about IP-address and password (and no: You are NOT allowed to pass this information to people outside the guild). Please log out of TS when you have finished using it, some players remain on their for 24 hours logged in and it creates unecessary network traffic.

GEN-forum - MilleSabor

Please make sure to register at our forum (http://forum.genguild.com) and ask for access (please use one of your ingame-names so that admins are able to recognize you): It is a great place to stay in contact with other GENs (or get acquainted with them - there are some nice guys there even if they play a different game), talk about geeky stuff, upcoming games, books, music or get help with whatever your heart desires. You might even find some useful stuff there such as a table with ingame-abbreviations.
