Welcome to another issue of "Generations Monthly" - information from WoW hasn't been easy to come by the last month so if anyone wants to make his or her name immortal just drop me a sentence or two about what is going on in WoW: Drama, romance, murder, fun - everything is worth an article (well almost everything...).

Lord of the Rings Online Goes Beta - MilleSabor

The upcoming MMORPG "Lord of the Rings Online" (LotRO) has reached beta-status in North-America. While some GENs have managed to participate (names withheld to protect the innocent, erm Non Disclosure Agreement) the majority of our players has to wait for LotRO in Europe to enter beta. This game is supposed to attract a lot of GENs so stay tuned for further information.

Dragons on the Run in WoW - Aviad

The WOW GEN-team took upon themselves to rid the world of Azeroth of the dreaded Dragons that spawn regularly and terrorize the ancient gates of the Emerald Dream. While two out of the four have already been slain, the Guild won't stop until all of those dragons will have been put to rest.

Outdoor Bosses Dead in WoW - Aviad

In a quick and brave effort the army of Generations was able to assemble quickly to reach the mighty Demon-Lord Kazzak and the Great Blue-Dragon Azuregos. It had been a close race vs other major guilds from both Horde and Alliance side , but in the end it was Gen's hand that came triumphant and slew the horrible monsters.

Secret GEN-achievement in WoW disclosed - MilleSabor

Even though WoW'ers are true to the GEN-spirit, being modest about their achievements and not bragging about their feats, our intrepid reporter Mille S'Abor has gone through great pains to wring some important information from them: He managed to overhear a conversation where it was revealed that GENs have been succesful in what is apparently a difficult instance: They have taken out "Huhuran", a thoroughly unpleasant and rather poisonous giant wasp. They aim to engage "the Twins" now, some boss-mobs who appear to be even harder to kill.

Rebels called to arms in SWG! - MilleSabor

GEN has always been a rebel-guild and with the Galactic Civil War (GCW) stepping into gear, now is the time to act. We have once been famous for our bunker-busting (the achievements of Mordrak's army are still fondly remembered) and will be again, following the example that our brethren have set in World of Warcraft. Tornadium is compiling a list with people who are avaible, especially the following professions are needed:

• Bounty Hunter
• Smuggler
• Medic
• Commando
• Officer

Please report for duty immediately!

Milon and Ben-Zha sighted again in SWG - MilleSabor

We welcome back two very old friends who have been sorely missed: Milon and Ben-Zha have decided to give SWG a try again. Glad to have you with us!

Ben-Zha and Dark-Phoenix achieve master-ranks in SWG - Tornadium, MilleSabor

Ben who has just returned to SWG already managed to hit combat-level 90 (the highest CL that can currently be gained in Star Wars Galaxies): Congratulations, Ben! Congratulations go also to Dark-Phoenix who has mastered the trader-profession: Well done, guys!

Iflassi honored as "Most Valuable Player"

Tornadium, intrepid leader of GEN in SWG, presided over a presentation ceremony of the MVP-award (MVP being the acronym for "Most valuable Player") for Iflassi at our Player-Association-Hall in New Joves. In the presence of most distinguished SWG-players, he said the following about her: "Over the past months there has been one person who sticks out to me and others I have spoken to" and continued " they have not only been there for the guild but also for other people starting out in the game, they have been pretty selfless in what they do". He subsequently presented Iflassi a rare statue that had been furnished with a personalized caption, reading "GEN-MVP 09/06: Iflassi" while those SWG-GENs who were present at this occasion hailed and cheered her.

Dark-Phonix has a supply of interplanetary survey-droids that he wants to distribute FREE among our traders in SWG. Send him a mail if you are interested (offer viable only as long as stock lasts, so grab it quick!)

GEN-forum - MilleSabor

Please make sure to register at our forum (http://forum.genguild.com) and ask for access (please use one of your ingame-names so that admins are able to recognize you): It is a great place to stay in contact with other GENs (or get acquainted with them - there are some nice guys there even if they play a different game), talk about geeky stuff, upcoming games, books, music or get help with whatever your heart desires. You might even find some useful stuff there such as a table with ingame-abbreviations..
