Index of Editions

Editorial - MilleSabor

This issue of "Generations Monthly" is late in appearing - and it is not quite complete: Due to real-life issues I haven't been able to release it when and as I wanted to. My sincerest apologies about that and I shall make sure to publish the next GM when it is due... Anyway: Have a great and outstanding year 2007!

World of Warcraft still on the hold - MilleSabor

Those GENs who are active in World of Warcraft are still preparing for "Burning Crusade", the eagerly awaited expansion to WoW. Since it is due to be released in about two weeks some new great achievements that are worth reporting are not too far ahead

Character-purge in LotRO-beta - MilleSabor

Lord of the Rings-Online-beta has seen another character-wipe so character-lists on our board may not reflect the current situation. Any other information about beta is of course confidential due to NDA but the game can be pre-ordered now - there are three different versions available currently: Standard (49€), collectors edition (69€) AAAAAAND (drumroll): a "Lifetime Version" for 249€ which not only includes every extra of the collector's edition but a life-time abo as well (the company that sent me their newsletter felt obliged to add "no joke!" to that offer)

New Members in SWG - MilleSabor

we welcome the following new members in SWG: Diarze Fespo, Elwud, kite flyer, Cryos R'ie, Hammor and Idowo Flyingsky. Liyyah O'ami has joined GEN as well but has been a member for a while already and left before we relocated to New Jove's: Welcome back, Liyyah! 'Eher and 'eher's alt Mikaa have decided to return to SWG as well - a hearty welcome goes out to you as well, 'eher.

Achievements in SWG - MilleSabor

A combined task-force of GENs have helped Draino, Eyevi and Tornadium (resp. their alts) to secure the victory over the "Star Ravager", Imperial corvette in Kessel and thus complete the final step that is required to become master-pilot. AceBeorn, who took out the lion's share of the enemy's guns deserves a special commendation.

GEN also has some good success in the evolving Galactic Civil War as well with Mille having achieved the rank of Colonel and thus being the first rebel colonel on Tarquinas with good chances to be among the first generals as well while Iflassi, who is severly hampered in her progress due to her new RL-job (congratulations to that, Iflassi!), still managed to become Captain.

Your Horoscope for 2007 - MilleSabor

(not quite complete - and a bit whacky [as horoscopes come...])

  • Bounty Hunter
Those mutineers you seek: Find them on Pitcairn Island you will
  • Warlock
Arthur C. Clarke's third law applies to whatever you are doing
  • Paladin
you should stop rubbing your lamp or you will end up blind for sure
  • Jedi
Remember: The hoff will be with you - always!
  • Co-mmando
Don't be satisfied with second best: Aim to become Mmando (whatever that is...)
  • Hunter
Don't ask someone else to bring you your bow of burning gold and your arrows of desire - fetch them yourself, slacker!
  • Druid
Have you hugged a tree recently?
  • Mage
Now is the time to take your toad Touchwood, leave Castle Saburac and return to your own time.

GEN-forum - MilleSabor

Please make sure to register at our forum (http://forum.genguild.com) and ask for access (please use one of your ingame-names so that admins are able to recognize you): It is a great place to stay in contact with other GENs (or get acquainted with them - there are some nice guys there even if they play a different game), talk about geeky stuff, upcoming games, books, music or get help with whatever your heart desires. You might even find some useful stuff there such as a table with ingame-abbreviations... Make sure to read our FAQs first!
