Editorial - MilleSabor

Well, it has been a quiet month as far as guild-activites are regarded but I haven't been able to monitor our forum closely and follow every thread so I hope I am not missing some major news. However with autumn looming ahead and temperatures falling we are most likely to spend more time indoors and raising the level of activity again.

Manchester-meet 2007: Aftermath - MilleSabor

[Real Life] Screenshots from GEN's raid in "Worsley Old Hall"-instance in Manchester have finally been posted at http://www.genguild.com/gatherings.php . Even though the raid had been highly succesfull, GEN has unfortunately not managed to bring down the final boss, evil management of Marriott Worsley hotel, which brutally charged for services never given. GEN's intrepid leaders and officers therefore prepare a follow-up next year, aiming towards the first weekend of September 2008 which would coincide with GEN's sixth anniversary.

New GENs in SWG - MilleSabor

[SWG] we are glad to welcome the following players in GEN: Vianna Kelmar, Botafo, Gunth Goat and Laucaoh Ikhau - some have been GENs-members for a while now but since we haven't had the opportunity to honour them in our newsletter yet we want to make good for that here.

GEN's 5th Anniversary - MilleSabor

On Friday the 2nd 2002 "Earth & Beyond" was released in the US and although no one remembers the exact date "Generations" was founded it has been close to the release-date of that game. GEN has tried to keep track of their ascent to world-domination by taking screenshots of an annual all-member-meetup. The following times are with one exception given in GMT - note that British Daylight Saving Time is in effect so add another hour to get the correct time if you are located in the UK.

LotRO-players will meet at 4:00 pm GMT and even though we haven't decided on a location yet since our poll yielded somewhat ambiguous results this won't pose much of a problem since Sedgehammer (Firefox) can summon players to his location whereas Thalassar (Mille) is able to transport the entire fellowship to all major areas.

SWG-players log in at 7:00 pm Greenwich Mean Time and meet in front of the city-hall opposite the shuttle port in New Jove's on Dantooine.

WoW-Europe players meet prior to their usual raid at 5:30 GMT at a location of their choice.

WoW-US-players will have their screenshots taken at 8:00 pm server time at a spot they find convenient.

Another "50" in LotRO - MilleSabor

[LotRO] Mille's character Thalassar has reached level-cap at 50, the third LotRO-player to do so after Sedgehammer and Arator.

We interrupt "Generations Monthly" for some useful consumer information now - Botafo

[SWG] A new vendor is in New Joves. Lots of good stuff. Right behind the guild hall. Check it out. Lots of 2,3,4 stat items.

GEN-forum - MilleSabor

[ALL] Please make sure to register at our forum (http://forum.genguild.com) and ask for access (please use one of your ingame-names so that admins are able to recognize you): It is a great place to stay in contact with other GENs (or get acquainted with them - there are some nice guys there even if they play a different game), talk about geeky stuff, upcoming games, books, music or get help with whatever your heart desires.
